Plagiarism and citing

  The video shows the importance of citing the sources directly. Male student complained about his assignment, he thought it was just another trick which made by professor to make sure his comprehension of the text.Moreover, he held the opinion that citing contribute nothing but waste his time. However, female student told him that text used in the paper can be shown to the reader and make them agree with his paper, she also pointed out that his view of citing is totally wrong, citing is some kind of regulation which like we have in the football game.Citing can make you know more about the assignment. Using the main idea and citing the sources can let reader get more information from the article.Furthermore, citing is a good way that to make a strong argument and clarify  that your ideas are not just copied from other's opinion.

  This video is mainly about the reason we cite the sources, most of us may be still a little confused about the citing.In my point of view, I agree with the point made by the female student. citing sometimes is like a sort of practice, it forces us to find the important parts and the main idea of the article, we change the words and the sentences to make sure not causing plagiarism.
