It seems that the former culture experience blog I wrote lack some details about what I've experienced. Before I came to Ohio I lived in my aunt's house which is in Maryland for almost a month. During that time, I took a walk with my aunt everyday  after dinner. When I walk around a small lake in her community, I can always saw people walking their dogs. The dogs were so cute so I said to my aunt "I want to buy a dog". My aunt said to me owning a pet in the State is different from China.,it's not that easy.My aunt also told me that before I buy dogs I should take some classes to learn how to take care of them and when the dogs get sick I must take them to pet hospital. However, in China, at least in the city where I born and raised, I've never heard anyone take classes before they keep a pet. What's more some people in China may even dump their pets when they get sick.
