Blog7-- issue paragraph

The fundamental
reason of International students’ plagiarism is a moral deal instead of the
cultural differences. Plagiarism is discussed by people in academic study since
a long time ago. Nowadays, it is especially prevailing among international students
because they are easily to involve plagiarism. However, these students are intentional
to commit plagiarism; they know the serious consequence of plagiarism, but they
risk the punishment of being suspended by schools to get better grades. It is a
moral deal and they choose to commit. Nevertheless, in the “Cheating Across Cultures”,
Elizabeth Redden analyses the reasons of international students’ plagiarism.
She claims that the cultures differences, like the differences of educational
systems are the main reason to explain their plagiarism. However, even under a
same educational system, plagiarism is still unavoidable. Recently, Richard
perez-pena and jess bidgood reported that 125 students have cheated on their
final exam. Even the students in the Harvard, one of the most famous universities,
can not avoid plagiarism. Consequently, students understand plagiarism clearly and
the culture differences or language barriers are the excuses for absolving from
punishments. Therefore, it is essential to learn the most fundamental reason of
plagiarism and trying to figure out this issue on a right way. Schools should mostly
focus on changing their mind of plagiarism, like to emphasize the importance of
a game’s rules, which are claimed in the Stanley Fish’s article, “Plagiarism is
not a big moral deal”. The rule are the key to continue the game and the academic
integrity are the guarantee for students studies.
Good use of counter-argument.
