Blog#6 Writing Self Reflection

When was a student in china, I am not good at writing very much. Even my Chinese teacher always gives me a journal or some narration with a theme, but I can receive a grade, which I can accept. Sometimes, I can achieve a very excellent result if I have lots of information and idea about that theme or something meaningful experiences. Some excellent grades are depended on my content and using of beautiful sentence with advanced Chinese idiom, which can explain and describe a story or example briefly. However, most of the writing in English I wrote before is argumentative writing. It is really different from the Chinese writing before and open mind and I should be free on my idea. Because the most significant core is critical thinking and the topics are always variable, I must know many knowledge and information about different areas. I think my ideas are not enough and not imaginative enough so I cannot give some good evident and example to state. Writing Digital story is an interesting process. Because this is my first time to write an article about my idol. I think I know him very much, but I still find that it is not easy to write. I remind of the entire stories about Michael Jackson, which I know and I search some details on the Internet to avoid some mistakes. The comments are very valuable that help me find my shortcomings and revise. Also, I understand the plagiarism totally and I think this is the best to help international student to avoid the unintentional plagiarism. Using quotation marks and writing the source are important to avoid the plagiarism in writing.
