In my opinion,
Hong Kong is an entirely fashionable and fast-paced city. When I stand on the
corner of street, I can see everybody walks so fast. In the subway station, people walk
on the escalator instead of standing. This is different from my
hometown—Tianjin’s situation. Although Hong Kong streets are fully narrow,
people stand in order and most are very courteous.
Firstly, I will introduce
how to choose a suitable hotel. In my mind, I recommend that first two days you
live in Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel and spend the other days in Park Lane Hotel.
However, traffic around Gold Coast Hotel is not very convenience, gorgeous
scenery will be experienced when you live in this hotel. I enjoyed sitting on
the coast and appreciating the fascinating sunset that can let me relax
totally. I also drive a yacht to fishing. That is very exciting. After I leave
this hotel, I move my temporary home to Park Lane Hotel. This hotel located in
Causeway Bay one of the Hong Kong’s bustling commercial districts and next to
the subway station. The location is very convenience for shopping and eating.
There are many good restaurants surrounded by extremely delicious foods. My
favorite restaurant is Itacho Sushi. The taste of sushi is very different from
Tianjin. This Sushi is fresher than Tianjin’s. I think the reason is Tianjin’s
restaurants put all fishes in the fridge to keep freezing, so fishes were died
and the taste lost the fish original taste.
Furthermore, I am
good at shopping. As we know, Hong Kong is tax-free heaven. Therefore, I
usually buy many famous brands’ clothes, because the price is absolutely
cheaper than Tianjin. Maybe it is 3 precent off. Moreover, there are a lot of
different styles of goods and a large number of stores in Hong Kong. I don’t
have enough time shopping in all these stores in every trip. Thus I need make a
decision which store I should go; there are many famous stores around Park Lane
Hotel. The reason why I prefer to living in this Hotel is that when I get tired,
I can come back hotel to get a good relax and then keep going on shopping.
However, other good stores are far from my hotel. For example, the Harbor City
Store is the biggest store in Hong Kong, which includes hundreds of brands to
give customers more opportunities to buy what they want. Therefore, I usually
spend one day in here. Fortunately, sometimes I also can meet some
entertainment stars when I shopping in this store.
In addition, many
restaurants have different country’s food styles. My favorite one is the
western-style food in the Verandah where located in Repulse Bay. In
Tianjin, this kind of tasty food will be very hardly to find out. I also taste
some Hong Kong’s snack, which is very popular in Hong Kong, such as Wonton
Noodles, Fish With Lettuce, French toast, Steamed Fish Dumplings and Steamed
Prawn Dumpling.
In this trip, I point out many different cultural
experiences between Tianjin and HK. Hong Kong’s people dress more fashionable.
You cannot compare books’ price between Tianjin and Hong Kong. HK’s book price
is pretty higher than Tianjin’s. Different food tastes between two places.
Foods in Hong Kong are fresher. People’s life paces are faster than Tianjin.
The most difference is that too many HK people enjoy the nightlife, but Tianjin
doesn’t have. For example, in Hong Kong I still can see hundreds of people on
the street and in the restaurant until midnight or more late, but in Tianjin
there are less people and cars on the street after 9 p.m. Furthermore in Hong
Kong many stores and restaurants close very later, the latest closing time is
10 p.m. In conclusion, Hong Kong has very different culture and lifestyle from
Tianjin.

I was always dreamed to have a trip to Hongkong, because of beautiful night scenery. It was really good to have an indirect experience through your story.
