Writing an essay in Chinese is not a hard job for me and i can always get a grade which is above average in Chinese exams. I think why i can write good essay in Chinese is because my personalities.I guess everyone know that I'm not a talkative person, and because of this i think more than talk. What i'm trying to say is that i observe and think about life more than others which made me have so kind of deep understanding of life. Thus, when writing an essay i can always grab the key points and come up with some deep understandings. But my weakness of writing is i don't really use those fancy words to decorate my essay and then my essay may look lack of writing skills. And sometime i may have problems to short the points which i want to express into a few sentences. So technically i am not a good writer.
Speaking of writing in English i guess i have to say i don't have that talent. Some time i just come up some ideas but due to my poor vocabulary i can't find an exact word to express them. However I did make some progress of making my digital story script. I learned how to use some useful phrases and words when i edited the story. And as we all know practice make prefect, with so many times of editing i made progress in writing.
In the ESL class we discussed a lot about plagiarism. We discussed why plagiarism occur and how to avoid it. So i believe everyone in the class improved the knowledge of plagiarism. But i still confused about one point how to distinguish intentional plagiarism and unintentional plagiarism.
YOu didn't talk about the digital story. I think your skills will transfer from Chinese to English.
