self-introduction

           Hi, my name is Yixuan Gong, 19-year-old girl. I am 

a freshman, majoring Mathematics. I am interested in 

Math. And my parents are merchants. They are always telling some information about business and finance, which attracts me to work as an actuary. Furthermore, they told me some real projects about how to be succeed in negotiation, which give me much experience and confidence. I come from Beijing, the capital of China, one of the biggest cities in the world, combining with modern and ancient feeling. Beijing has many delicious food and great sightseeing. And my interest is travel. I love it! I live in a big family, grandparents, parents and uncle and so on. We have been to many cities in China and some foreign countries with whole families, filling with joy. I like the nature and cultural scenery, like tropical forest--Sanya, ancient site--Nanjing and the metropolis—Shanghai. The picture above shows our trip to Nanjing during the Spring Festival. I was in a gift store where sell the stuffs using at the festival. It is very hilarious. During the travel, food is the key. Because my grandparents are good at cooking, I would like to taste the food around world. But, unfortunately, I just can do some simple food. This is my first time coming to America. I want to explore the interesting stuffs in there, feeling the different culture and making new friends here. Also, I have never lived with others in dorm. Therefore, I hope I can get along with others and have a great time!
